Hi fairy bugs,
It's details day were little ideas can make a real difference and add that loving, personal touch to your special day.
This colourful, adorable touch is for brides to be who need to entertain their younger guests. Whether it's personalised, buckets, bags or boxes fill them with dot to dot, colouring in kits, jigsaws, sticker or any other fun crafts and games which, will keep them out of mischief and give them their own special gift.
The bright colours are really fun and you can tailor them to your theme or simply find the most creative, exciting looking pieces. Why not form a kiddies table where they can play together, while parents enjoy the day?! Mmmmm food for thought xx

Wedding Inspiration of the Week x

Hi fairy bugs,
Blimey what a week of wind and rain! If your hiding from the elements then why not catch up with this weeks features and don't miss Sundays.......perfect for brides to be looking for bridal contacts, and we have a list of some of the best wedding suppliers up north :)
This weeks wedding inspiration of the week is all a bit purple........shades and tones of a rather regal heritage. Whether you opt for the pastels or the bold rich options, it's certainly a versatile colour. We're proposing multiple tones across the whole purple spectrum.......wowzers. Don't panic we not lost the plot, it's the perfect way to add depth and sophistication to your special day. Blend with off white or optic white for a crisp clean feel. Textures and layers are a great way to blend multiple tones and achieve this in a soft, stylish way.
Take a look at the flowers and cake below. This is a perfect example of mixing shades of one colour. It works so well and even the grey tones and pink tones compliment each other. Think a vogue magazine shoot - super chic!
When it comes to the dress code why not keep the colours flowing. If your groomsmen are in deeper shades add those into the flowers the bridesmaids carry, and dress them in lighter more feminine tones. Piece of cake :)
Don't be scared to add gold or silver elements into your theme. They will bring the right amount of zing and sparkle. Take a look at the stationary below. Adding the gold pattern makes the invitations look expensive and well designed. Include this on all your stationary for lovely continuity throughout the day.
If your concerned about over doing colour keep table cloths, chair cover and bows in off white or white, allowing the softer side to your theme do some of the talking.
Bibbidi bobbidi boo your on your way to a spectacular day xx

Wedding Inspiration of the Week x

Hi fairy bugs,
And happy new year! We hope you've had a great festive holiday and a fantastic new year.
Yes we're back with new inspiration just for you.
If your planning your special day around the festive period or just after then take a peek at the below mood board, sparkles, shimmers with delectable white tones and powdery greys. Think dreamy, wintery, elegance, with a sprinkling of what all magpies love......... Crystals and pearls. With a controlled squeal let's brainstorm.......
Let's start with the most important area, dresses. They form the largest impact and they're what every guest wants to see. So why not give them something to talk about. The image below is a great example of understated chic. The bride in the textural fishtail is complimented beautifully by the bridesmaids and their shimmering gowns. All slightly different but uniform in fabric. If you have a few bridesmaids this is a perfect way to add a glistening touch. If you only have one or two then opt for styles with more shaping or 3D embellishment. A fine detail would be to have the groomsmen's ties in matching colours to the dresses or tones of.
For the the flowers we had to share the encrusted bouquet below. The coloration and mixture of crystals and pearls is delightful. If your not a fan of flowers maybe leave those to the centrepieces as shown below. Team the flowers with tall crystal candelabras for maximum impact.
Now let's not forget the yummy cake.......whether you prefer a tiered number, cupcakes, cake pops or macaroons there is certainly a way to add the vavavoom to them. Take inspiration from the grey and white tones below. The solid colours are divine and with the floral elements added, a masterpiece is created. Rose themed cupcakes are a treat but, why not add a few sprinkles or shimmer dust or a light scattering of pearls. A little note here cupcake boxes are a great idea for guests to take a treat home.
There are many ways to add style to your day and stationary is a key factor, ensuring it follows throughout, this will impress your guests and set the scene for your happy ever after xx
