I had a lovely little invite to a store opening today. Home Sense has now opened in Manchester Arndale and is a super spacious store full of perfect pieces for our DIY brides. You'll find the store on the ground floor, inside the Arndale next to TKmaxx. If your going this weekend make sure it's on your must visit list.
All shiny and new :)
I really wanted to visit the store to find items perfect for our DIY brides who want to perfect their day themselves and are trying to stick to a budget! There really are some perfect pieces at great prices which you could certainly use to dress your wedding. Take a peek at the items below they are great finds for your tables, outside decorations and table plans!
The first exciting find was this lovely selection of white rococo frames. These little beauties would be perfect for adding your table numbers or names inside then perching them next to your centre piece! You could also attach them to a large board, and position inside a larger frame for your table plan. Not only will your guests be impressed but after the wedding you could fill them with wedding photos and give them to your family as gifts ;)
I love storage! especially the printed shabby chic kind. There was 2 whole isles of them. Needless to say i was in my element. These would be great for a number of reasons:
1) make a stack in the centre of the table, open the top box, add floral oasis & attach flowers into the oasis
2) use them as post boxes for your wedding cards
3) keeping the stack idea attach your table plan to the boxes with pegs on string. Why not incorporate flowers or ivy to give a super impact.
If you love flowers and really want floral centre pieces there is a huge range of vases. Little to large! You could have 1 show stopping piece in the centre or a collection of smaller mix and match shapes with single stems in. Great if your opting for vintage chic.
Now if your looking to dress a garden or decking space. You could choose giant candles they will look super gorgeous at dusk to night. Also if there is a path why not add metal rods with hanging lanterns and candles. Take a peek at these!
Below are a few other items which, would be super to dress up for centre pieces or just as room decorations. There is so much instore it is a must next time your visiting manchester city centre!
Also lets not forget the special guest who came along to help open the store. Corrie's 1 and only Anthony Cotton who was thrilled to attend and was an absolute gem x
