It's been a busy week on Pinterest and rather exciting as there has been a lot of SS14 styles popping up. New year, new season, new ideas!
This week we've been loving a black and white....but not just big standard monochrome, oh no......we're in love with stripes. Wide, narrow, horizontal, vertical loveliness! When we saw the fantastic image below showcasing the bridesmaid dresses in black and ivory stripes, that was it, we were hooked! Setting a sophisticated, almost "upper east side" chic, for that classic perfection most brides to be dream of.
From perfectly styled hair, to über geek groomsmen accessories, beautifully detailed cakes and decorative stationary, creating the perfect day is definitely in the details. You can mix up your stripes for a more eclectic look, and as shown below adding pretty ribbons to bouquets and creating stylish button holes are a perfectly polished wedding "MUST". Even add the ribbons to the back of chairs, on pews, and even on favours.......beautiful, thoughtful continuity bringing that designed edge to your special day.
The beautiful cake below is a detailed optic angel but, how fabulous would it be with black and white striped sponge on the inside.......a little bit like a kinder surprise, 'you never know what your going to get'. Plus once cut it will look super dooper on photographs............ Quintessentially perfect.
