Last week we attended The National Wedding show for you to bring you the most up to date ideas and inspiration for your special day. Filled to the rafters of exciting wedding product from the best company's in the north west, it was breath taking. Everything you need under one roof, and best of all the discounts on offer are amazing.

It's so much fun and the excitement and buzz is immense. The exhibitors have certainly brought their A game and seeing the displays and ideas makes you visualise perfection for your day. Spiralling connotations zoom around at 100 miles an hour. For any bride this is a must on your visit list. (Don't worry if you missed this show there is another one later in the year).

There were some really impressive and helpful talks and workshops from professionals in the industry on offer for brides to be. Tips and tricks to make you even more fabulous on your wedding day. From make up and hair, to how to hold a bouquet, standing and posing for photos to dressing for your shape. There was so much help on offer and let's be honest girls sometimes we need a little help to point us in the right direction.

This show calms the inner bridezilla and encourages a blossoming, glowing bride.

Part 1 is all about the details from floral notes, accessories to cool details such as natural petal confetti, candy carts and fun flip flops for your honeymoon! Eeeek your getting married it's so exciting so lets inspire you to have the most memorable wedding day ever!!

The first stand was Debenhams and what a treat it was! Showcasing stunning pastel shades key for the wedding season.

Browsing round we came across the most beautiful millinery work in the form of perfect mother of the bride hats! Stunning colours and details made each style unique. The offering was vast and this exhibitor is a must if your bridal party are looking for perfect headwear! The fabulousness was from the sophisticated Nigel Rayment

Floral notes a statement for any wedding and finding creative, inspiration perfecting is hard. Well look no further GD Flowers are artists in floristry. Perfection! Dreamy pieces brightened up the room with every inch filled with magnificent flowers and details. Their ranges are to die for and would make any wedding room light up a treat.

Now time to cover off our ethical, eco friendly side…….Natural petal confetti offer the most beautiful range of biodegradable, no dyes added confetti petals to sprinkle. Hair accessories are so important for all the bridal party. By Harriet offer an extensive range of birdcage veils, tiaras, slides, headbands and basically any type of hair ornament you can think of. They sparkled and shimmered and like the magpie we are we floated over for a closer look. Perfectly created they would dazzle at any wedding.

Now when we saw the next exhibitor we got all giddy! Flip flops! Yes thats right. We've not gone mad. If you want to leave romantic messages in the sand then these should be the first thing you put in the suitcase. There are so many styles on offer and they would also make a great feature on your wedding day too. If your guests are pulling their best shapes on the dance floor then their feet are bound to get tired…….why not offer a basket of sparkly flip flops for your guests to change into! Flossy Pots, the name itself conjures up excitement and connotations of fun, yummy, goodies. Plus the sugar station will be a great meeting point throughout the night, where guests can get there sugar kick to boogie into the early hours.

oooooooo sparkles, crystals, sparkles………..sorry we're back! We got lost in a sea of magpie heaven! Ivory and Co offer the biggest most fabulous range of tiaras we've ever seen. Not to mention some rather fancy pants jewellery sets, perfect for gifts for your bridal party. We need say no more……….we know your grabbing for your tablets as we speak.

Confetti had one of the most interesting displays of the whole event. If your looking for eye catching wedding design then we've found heaven! Their ideas and execution are mind blowing.
