The National Wedding Show - Part 2

and welcome to part 2 of our National Wedding show special. If you didn't catch last weeks jam packed feature read below there are so many amazing ideas and a directory of suppliers, perfect for helping you create the bibbidi bobbed boo for your special day!

This week it's all about the Wedding wardrobe!!!! yeeeyyyyy the best bit in our opinion. We're going to share with you the newest, most fabulous styles for the Spring Summer season. Jeepers we're bursting with excitement there's nothing ogling over beautiful dresses! There are also some bobby dazzlers for the mother of the bride and the groomsmen too. Basically in this one feature you'll be able to kit out your whole bridal party……. look out for links to boutiques below! (Oh we do like to make it easy for you). So lets get going……

Awe inspiring moments came thick and fast. Dreamy, princess like, chic, breath taking are just some of the words to describe some of the beauties on offer. Pastel colourations brought a real fresh, spring is coming kind of feel to the whole show. Groomsmen and mother of the bride outfits echoed the refreshing seasonal notes, bringing the whole collection together seamlessly. 

Whether your getting married in the UK or jetting off abroad, looking for the "bigger is better" dress of the fluid fish tail oozing chic simplicity there was something for everyone………and yes colours too. Blue, pink, purple, black and white. Nothing was missed!

Sashaying down the catwalk the models embodied the Bride to be persona which, created a more life like show. The moments were they paused in a statuesque manner were perfect, gasps and humming of chit chat were priceless. Excitement building……. get ready for a whole lotta' inspiration :)

Scene 1: saw vintage styling, lace, embellishment, tradition with a twist.  Delicate tones of off whites and barely there pinks. The fabrics and sparkles certainly made these dresses special.

Scene 3: Planning a summer wedding or a wedding abroad, somewhere hot, exotic and breathtakingly beautiful and your need attire to match. Here there is fluidity with draping and a delicate softness. Warm pastels with crisp whites, (said with a pleasing sigh).

Scene 4: offered a nod to what to wear under your wedding dress. The sexy, seductive side and cheeky numbers looked sizzling yet comfortable! The detailing was lush sparkles, lace and satin all added to the  gorgeousness.

 Scene 5: The mother of the bride. An important, influential person who takes her role seriously and wants to look her best while celebrating giving her daughter away. (Tear in the eye). Scene 6: Frozen has stolen the hearts of thousands and Brides to be are no different. Striving for their disney perfect day with a bibbidi bobbidi boo sparkle. Scene 10: The finale, the closing scene, perfection. Simplicity at its finest. Lace and satin owned the catwalk making delightful statements of the classics. Teamed with sweetheart necklines the outcome was splendid!

The National Wedding Show - part 1

Hi fairy bugs,

Thanks for joining us. Question.......are you engaged? Yes! Then your in the right place! Last week we attended The National Wedding show for you to bring you the most up to date ideas and inspiration for your special day. Filled to the rafters of exciting wedding product from the best company's in the north west, it was breath taking. Everything you need under one roof, and best of all the discounts on offer are amazing. 

It's so much fun and the excitement and buzz is immense. The exhibitors have certainly brought their A game and seeing the displays and ideas makes you visualise perfection for your day. Spiralling connotations zoom around at 100 miles an hour. For any bride this is a must on your visit list. (Don't worry if you missed this show there is another one later in the year). 

There were some really impressive and helpful talks and workshops from professionals in the industry on offer for brides to be. Tips and tricks to make you even more fabulous on your wedding day. From make up and hair, to how to hold a bouquet, standing and posing for photos to dressing for your shape. There was so much help on offer and let's be honest girls sometimes we need a little help to point us in the right direction. 

This show calms the inner bridezilla and encourages a blossoming, glowing bride.

Part 1 is all about the details from floral notes, accessories to cool details such as natural petal confetti, candy carts and fun flip flops for your honeymoon! Eeeek your getting married it's so exciting so lets inspire you to have the most memorable wedding day ever!!

The first stand was Debenhams and what a treat it was! Showcasing stunning pastel shades key for the wedding season.

Browsing round we came across the most beautiful millinery work in the form of perfect mother of the bride hats! Stunning colours and details  made each style unique. The offering was vast and this exhibitor is a must if your bridal party are looking for perfect headwear! The fabulousness was from the sophisticated Nigel Rayment

Floral notes a statement for any wedding and finding creative, inspiration perfecting is hard. Well look no further GD Flowers are artists in floristry. Perfection! Dreamy pieces brightened up the room with every inch filled with magnificent flowers and details. Their ranges are to die for and would make any wedding room light up a treat.

Now time to cover off our ethical, eco friendly side…….Natural petal confetti offer the most beautiful range of biodegradable, no dyes added confetti petals to sprinkle. Hair accessories are so important for all the bridal party. By Harriet offer an extensive range of birdcage veils, tiaras, slides, headbands and basically any type of hair ornament you can think of. They sparkled and shimmered and like the magpie we are we floated over for a closer look. Perfectly created they would dazzle at any wedding.

Now when we saw the next exhibitor we got all giddy! Flip flops! Yes thats right. We've not gone mad. If you want to leave romantic messages in the sand then these should be the first thing you put in the suitcase. There are so many styles on offer and they would also make a great feature on your wedding day too. If your guests are pulling their best shapes on the dance floor then their feet are bound to get tired…….why not offer a basket of sparkly flip flops for your guests to change into! Wedding Flip Flops get them on your radar now :)

Flossy Pots, the name itself conjures up excitement and connotations of fun, yummy, goodies. Candy carts, chocolate fountains and the most amazing giant wheel full of sweets are all available to hire. Wowzers! Go on treat your guests (and yourself) you know you want too.
