Wedding Inspiration of the Week x

Hi fairy bugs,
Wowzers it's Friday! Happy weekend! Happy valentines day! I hope your H2B's are spoiling you rotten!
What away to finish the week with an inspiring mood board pieced together just for you! We're doing our Bibbidi bobbidi boo best to help you along to your special day. Sharing colours, themes , details and imagery from our Pinterest boards.
Are you a vintage bride to be? Do you love eclectic mixes of details and colour? If so then this theme could be a great starting point for you on your wedding planning journey.
Pone of the main stand out points here are the almost patchwork displays of flowers in their bohemian tones with a juxtapose mix. This blend creates a fantastic overall style, and to be honest don't they look expensive! From bouquets, to the cake and miniature table offerings, you can give connotations of expense with cleverly picked flowers. Oh yes you could save a bucket with the right pickings!
Taking note of the stationary displayed below, the whimsical appearance with their water colour beauty enhance the theme. Pulling in colours from the flowers and using framing As a key feature they will be a pleasant invite to receive. Tie in your save the dates, table numbers and name cards for real effect.
Now.....take a look at that head piece! Stunning or what! We cooooooood over this for a while, loving the vintage feel with the diamanté banding. We need one!! Mixing this with a delicately detailed off white or ivory ensemble will be divine. A tip here, while you have such a free flowing colour palette, jazz up the bridesmaids in conflicting dress types and colours. Trust us it will be fantastic. Match the bouquets to tie them together.
Eeekkkkk we may need to get married again!
Happy planning xx

We recently pinned this image to our Pinterest boards and thought it was a lovely more traditional approach to creative photography. Notice the additional frames on the main board. You could fill these with imagery of you and H2B throughout your time together or include funny family photos.......even quotes. Then line up your guests and see what happens. Wedding inspiration of the Week x

Hi fairy bugs,
It's that exciting time of the week were we share wedding inspiration with you. Whether you know your theme or are still deciding we hope you give you food for thought.
With lighter longer days coming into play we felt the need to offer up a more spring like colour palette.  Looking for a powdery, pastel shade which, looks fresh yet quintessentially vintage.......then why not consider mint as a your highlight wedding colour. Offering a dainty, almost shabby chic essence this colour could be a great tone for your special day. The wonderful thing is how it works effortlessly with white, blush, lemon, natural green foliage and even metallics. Looking through the imagery below the metallics show how to make pastels current.
With a view to this theme being feminine, nouveau shabby chic and perfect for our vintage-esque brides to be, floral elements are well suited when perfectly mixed, wild and traditional. Pretty pastel tones emphasise the style sitting prim against the beautiful bridesmaids dresses shown below.
We fell a little bit in love with the groomsmen's attire, the blue side of grey will work stunningly against your chosen hue and looks crisp against white and off white. Brides to be if your a fan of lace and detail this is a perfect theme to work with. All the textures will come together beautifully.
The pretty features we wanted to share with you are there to enhance your style and create a divine, seamless flow on your wedding day. Pretty macaroons, textural cakes, and vases of floral offerings with metallic or glass votives are just a few ways to bring the bibbidi bobbidi boo.
As briefly touched on before the metallic element in a hot trend and compliments pastels sublimely. Take a look at the stationary. Simple, classic with a touch of glitter.......result.......gorgeousness! The main thing is to have touches throughout the day. Crackle vases, necklaces on bridesmaids, table numbers, buttonholes, favours, they are all great places to add a touch of sparkle.
Happy planning xx

Brides to be we have 2 questions for you .........Are you organized? Do you ever go to a wedding and wonder what the schedule is? If you answered yes to either of these questions then this weeks "weddings.....it's in the detail" is for you! Oh yes you could create one fabulous piece for your wedding day that will be decorative, informative and will ensure everyone will be in the right place at the right time.
Now this may seem like effort but if you have a family member who is a dab hand with a hammer, nails and paint then you could have your very own itinerary board! No we haven't gone mad this could truly be a life saver for some. Especially if you have a large wedding, a wedding with lots of activities or a wedding with more than one room venue.
