Wedding inspiration of the Week x

Hi fairy bugs,
It's that exciting time of the week were we share wedding inspiration with you. Whether you know your theme or are still deciding we hope you give you food for thought.
With lighter longer days coming into play we felt the need to offer up a more spring like colour palette.  Looking for a powdery, pastel shade which, looks fresh yet quintessentially vintage.......then why not consider mint as a your highlight wedding colour. Offering a dainty, almost shabby chic essence this colour could be a great tone for your special day. The wonderful thing is how it works effortlessly with white, blush, lemon, natural green foliage and even metallics. Looking through the imagery below the metallics show how to make pastels current.
With a view to this theme being feminine, nouveau shabby chic and perfect for our vintage-esque brides to be, floral elements are well suited when perfectly mixed, wild and traditional. Pretty pastel tones emphasise the style sitting prim against the beautiful bridesmaids dresses shown below.
We fell a little bit in love with the groomsmen's attire, the blue side of grey will work stunningly against your chosen hue and looks crisp against white and off white. Brides to be if your a fan of lace and detail this is a perfect theme to work with. All the textures will come together beautifully.
The pretty features we wanted to share with you are there to enhance your style and create a divine, seamless flow on your wedding day. Pretty macaroons, textural cakes, and vases of floral offerings with metallic or glass votives are just a few ways to bring the bibbidi bobbidi boo.
As briefly touched on before the metallic element in a hot trend and compliments pastels sublimely. Take a look at the stationary. Simple, classic with a touch of glitter.......result.......gorgeousness! The main thing is to have touches throughout the day. Crackle vases, necklaces on bridesmaids, table numbers, buttonholes, favours, they are all great places to add a touch of sparkle.
Happy planning xx
