Wedding Inspiration of the Week x

Hi Fairy bugs!
Hope you had a fun even of trick or treating. If not i hope you managed to have a few cheeky treats yourself!
In the midst of the wicked and wonderful, thoughts of the mystical more fairytail like dreaminess comes to light. "Once upon a time"..........the princess like wedding most little girls dream of, and with an array of darling imagery popping up on Pinterest we wanted to share this with you.
Lets start with the dress. Big is bold and beautiful but, you don't have to go grand scale. You can opt for layering, textures, and soft lines as shown in the photo below. You still achieve the dreamy look without having the difficulty of a dome shaped dress. Textures and layers are going to be huge so keep your peepers peeled for these fabulous details.
Cakes are a great place to create your fairy tail and when we saw the cake below we had to share it! Stunning with its baby blue diamantie detail, set on a bed of 3D florals, this cake shows how one colour with a hint of sparkle can be truly effective. If your not into 1 large cake, why not have tiers of cupcakes or cake pops. You can still incorporate the beautiful detailing.
Now to stationary and accessories for the day. Look for flowing, curly, romantic text! Text really does have a huge impact on the connotations you create. Take inspiration from the invites below: banner detailing, different scales of text, soft colours, textural paper/card. Also the wax seal is a really special finish. Why not get a stamp with your initials on to seal your invites. Love it!
Nowadays there are lots of signs and accessories to pick up to decorate with. If you love signage why not opt for cute details like the below image to bring a bit of "happily ever after" to your day.
Table decorations are a great place to form that romantic, dreamy, princess like wedding look. Floral displays should be big and bold, with pearls and diamanties thrown into the mix. Lighting (candles) will also add to the theme creating a soft ambience. Formal table settings will also help boost and complete the look. Take a look at the image below for one way of creating a bibbidi bobbidi boo wedding xx
