Wedding Inspiration of the Week x

Hello to all our lovely brides to be! Welcome and thanks for visiting our blog :)
It's 'Wedding Inspiration of the Week' day, with this weeks theme being all about, colour, vibrancy and Summer fun.
For our brides who have a white, ivory or off white wedding dresses, here's some lovely ideas for you to add a colour pop to your day. Let's take it away folks.....
Lets start at the very beginning (yes i did have the sound of music theme tune in my head), invitations! You can make them super dooper personal by using colourful envelopes. I love the pink envelope with the rather simple, bold yet impressively modern slogan style. This alone gives connotations of a fun, colourful wedding. I actually love the invitation for a way to ask your besties to be your best men and bridesmaids. (image from raymondeejewelers.net)

Why not get your bridesmaids showcasing some fabulous, eye popping dresses. How lovely!! and the flowers could match too. Take a look at the coral dresses below. So chic and perfect for that summer time wedding, and with the weather we're having at the moment they're bob on! (image from bowribbonsandpearls.com)

A great way to bring the colour blocking is in the cake. I love the cake below for its delightful stripes in different colours and widths with a cluster of rainbow bright flowers on top. Again this is a simple but effective feature for your special day. You could even go that one step further and ask your cake maker to colour the sponge, either in your favourite colour or as a rainbow! (image from cakesbywade.co.za)

Now for some more fun ideas. This mini mood board shows some stylish easy peasy ways to add colour. Be bold, be brave and go full rainbow! Check out the gorgeous tulips. A beautiful shape in a variety of shades....stunning. How about colourful underskirts, bright lipsticks and floral headbands for the bridesmaids? Another way is to pick accessories with large vibrant jewels.....a bit of sparkle goes a long way and nobody ever misses the bling. Just remember if your going to do colour no colour can be too much, take inspiration from these images and you'll definitely get the summer fun wedding day of your dreams....
