Wedding Inspiration of the week x

Hi fairy bugs,
Happy Friday! We hope you've all had a lovely week and any planning you may be doing is coming together nicely. If your still undecided on the theme for your special day let us help inspire you, or give food for thought on additional details.
This weeks colour is grey. Not normally associated with highlight colours for wedding days it normally has connotations, of cold, dull and drab. Well not in today's theme. There's an element of delicate refinement and classic tailoring, but when styled with whimsical design and floral notes becomes beautifully dainty. Keeping tones quite soft and almost pastel like achieves an almost vintage version of the usually risqué shade.
Bringing in feminine, floaty dresses, cakes with perfectly formed petals or ruffles and thoughtful lavendar heart shaped favours adds a softer approach to this theme. lavendar not only adds a shabby chic touch but a divine scent. Buckets of lavender strategically positioned throughout the day will add a warming scent, a sense of calm and pretty unique detailing. If you opt for the heart favours double them up as garland decoration if you have an outdoor space.
Floral design would be delightful if slightly more wild with sublime green foliage mixed and matched roughly. Including whites and even a touch of lavendar by preference would encourage an exquisite display for poses and centrepieces. Smaller clusters at table centres would be just the ticket and if you source unique jars, teapots and vases with a crackled silver finish will brighten up the powder greys.
Stationary is always the place to set the scene and we rink should be well thought through. Piecing your day together, while teasing guests of the day to come. Whether opting for clean precision, floral touches, mixed prints or simple 2 colour you can make them sublime with funky fonts. Investigate these as they can enhance your theme.
If you want a more prim finish opt for satin dresses, chair how's and table runners.......or if you prefer chinse pretty patterns in grey for dresses and bows would be perfection. We hope we've inspired you.
Happy planning xx
